Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy is a therapeutic approach that focuses on identifying and changing the cognitions (thoughts) and behaviors that impact our mood, anxiety, relationships or other areas of our life. The goal of CBT is to identify the specific thoughts or behaviors that are having a negative impact on our daily life, then to develop more adaptive thoughts or behaviors that will have a more positive impact. All of our therapists have extensive experience with CBT. It is a fundamental element of our approach and is integrated into therapy/counseling sessions.
