Jann A. Shepard, M.Ed.

Ms. Shepard is an educator who specializes in the needs of individuals with various learning styles and developmental disabilities. She has over thirty-five years of experience working with the public schools, private schools, preschools, and other community settings. After receiving her B.A. in special education from the University of Arizona, she obtained her M.Ed. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Ms. Shepard believes that children of all ages and varying learning concerns can benefit from early intervention and the utilization of strengths to gain success in their learning environment. Her approach provides an integration of home and school programs to give families access to various tools, strategies, and resources that address child management, learning strategies, and education. Through consultation, observations, evaluations, diagnostics, and advocacy, Ms. Shepard is available to assist in the development and implementation of an educational and/or behavioral plan that considers the child's learning style.

Ms. Shepard is a member of the Learning Disabilities Association of America and the Council of Exceptional Children. She conducts workshops, provides teacher training, and presents at local and national conferences.
