Family Services

Sometimes parents feel guilty, uncertain, embarrassed or ashamed about seeking help for their family. Today’s families face numerous challenges and transitions, increasingly in the absence of extended family or familiar longstanding community. Blended families, divorce, death, medical crises, adoptions, and childrearing difficulty or conflict are just a handful of the primary reasons families seek counseling. There are dozens of others. Addressing difficulties in ways that promote continued positive growth can bring relief and build a stronger foundation for proceeding on one’s developmental journey.

Our therapists can help educate you, your family, and each family member about the reasons why there’s conflict. We will work with you, as a family, and with individual family members to help you become more resilient as you work toward a more cohesive family dynamic.
