Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) involve weaknesses in a number of areas, including social interactions, communication, and inflexible or repetitive behavior. Diagnosing ASD can be difficult, since children can experience social difficulties and display behaviors that are similar to ASD for a variety of reasons, including anxiety, language delays, or normal variability in development. Early and accurate identification is important so that your child can receive the services and supports he/she needs in order to reach their potential.
Our clinicians are trained in research-based methods to assess and treat ASD. We will work closely with you and your child to determine their specific learning and behavior patterns, develop strategies to improve behavior and social skills, and work with schools to ensure that they receive the educational, behavioral, and social supports they need.
